I want to say first how much we love the Arctic Fox. She (we named her Luna) is so soft and beautiful, and the glow-in-the dark snow globe on her neck is amazing. We filled out her adoption papers right away and got a printable certificate. I think this makes the book even more special to read.

“Elf Pets: An Arctic Fox Tradition” by Chanda Bell is the perfect book to curl up with on a cold winter’s night. I loved reading the book to my sisters and brother as we get ready for the holidays.

The pictures in the book are so beautiful. With the deep blues and snow that go so well with the white of the Arctic Fox. I could just stare at the pictures all day. The pages of the book have a glossy shine to them, that make the book look even more magical.

I especially liked how the story had a Christmas type rhyme to it like, “The Night before Christmas.” My sisters and bother liked it too, as they intently listened though out the story. They liked the idea of Santa having a magical animal helper that can put snow on each rooftop for Santa to land his sleigh.

We have two favorite parts in the story, first when the Arctic Fox created a special light for Santa to travel safely in, and then when all the cute puppies showed up to help Santa for next year.

Our favorite character is definitely the Arctic Fox, she is just so beautiful in the story as she helps Santa. I think this is our favorite elf pet of all.

We think that “Elf Pets: An Arctic Fox Tradition” by Chanda Bell is a great book to add to our other Elf Pet books that we love so much. This book can be read all year long but is especially wonderful around the holidays. This will make someone a wonderful present too, as the Arctic Fox and the book come in a nice clear box that is perfect for gift giving.

Merry Christmas!
