Bedtime for Bear

It is winter in “Bedtime for Bear,” which means that it is time for Bear to hibernate until springtime. However, bear’s friends have other plans. They want bear to come out and play! What should bear do?
“The bear was yawning in the beginning. I think he was tired. He is supposed to sleep all winter long. He gets up though and goes and plays with those raccoons! They do lots of fun things in the snow. I wouldn’t want to sleep that long if I was him either. It is more fun to play! My favorite part is when they went sliding down the snow hill!”
“Bedtime for Bear” is a cute look at a bear who wants to play instead of sleep! The illustrations are fun and had my son laughing out loud. The book also opened up a discussion about how bears hibernate and some other animals do not. We loved this book and think that any Preschool/Kindergarten age child would enjoy it also!
