“A Child’s Good Morning Book” begins when the night ends.  The sun rises and it is time for everyone to wake up.  The roosters crow, the birds fly away, and the bees begin to buzz.  Finally, the alarm clocks ring and the children begin their day.

Cayden:  “I liked watching everyone wake up when the sun came up.  My favorite part was when the bees woke up and buzzed.  I liked when the kids woke up too and got dressed.  I liked their shirts and when they stretched their arms up.  We can read this book when we get up in the morning!”

Parent’s comments:

It is nice to see a book that is meant to be read in the morning, a refreshing departure from the plethora of bedtime books available!  I am a big fan of Margaret Wise Brown’s books (especially “Goodnight Moon”) and really enjoy her style of writing.  Brown’s writing, coupled with the bright colorful illustrations, make “A Child’s Good Morning Book” a book that every child will enjoy!
