Pete the Cat Saves Christmas

“Oh Boy” says Miles when I pull out “Pete the Cat Saves Christmas” by Eric Litwin for us to read. Miles is in love with cats! Well, pretty much any animal. This Christmas we spent a lot of time talking about Santa and presents and things of the holiday. He has a grasp on most of it and gets excited to read about Christmas.
When Santa woke up on Christmas Eve and was sick, he thought maybe Christmas had to be canceled. No way! Santa called Pete the Cat. Pete was excited to help out. “Even though I am small, at Christmas we give, so I’ll give it my all.” We sang these words to our own tune. Miles loves to sing!
Pete jumps in the minibus and off to the North Pole he goes! The reindeer were waiting for him and they loaded up the minibus off they went!
We love the rhymes and they are easy to add our own tune and sing right along with Pete the Cat! I love the moral that even the smallest cat can help in a big way. Christmas is a time for giving and everyone can play a part. I recommend “Pete the Cat Saves Christmas” by Eric Litwin and cannot wait to get more Pete the Cat for Miles! He asks to read it over and over. A+++
