“The Prince of Fenway Park” by Julianna Baggott is about 12-year-old Oscar Egg who is not what he seems and, because of this, is the only one who can break the curse at Fenway Park.

At first I was not sure about reading this book because I really know nothing about Red Sox history; I am more of a soccer fan myself but the story was really entertaining, with a mix of mythical creatures and magic, plus a bit of Red Sox history. I liked how there was a whole world of creatures and beings under the ball park. Oscar was able to go into the past to find out how to reverse the curse and be part of a game of good vs. evil. I liked how no matter what happened to Oscar, he always tried his best and did not give up.

“The Prince of Fenway Park” by Julianna Baggott is full of action and adventure. Even though you might not know much about baseball or the Red Sox, the story will not disappoint you.  I recommend this book to all kid that like adventure books.
