Pinkalicious and the New Teacher

“Pinkalicious and the New Teacher” by Victoria Kann is a wonderful book for little girls; after all, what little girl doesn’t love the color pink? The main character in the story is a little girl named Pinkalicious, who is looking forward to the first day of school, until she realizes she has a new teacher. The day started off all wrong, when Pinkalicious was asked to sit in a new seat away from her friend Alison. Story time was not the same either - instead of her usual shaggy rug like last year, this year she was supposed to sit on bean bags. Pinkalicious loved the smiley faces her teacher gave her last year, but this year the new teacher only gave out star stickers. Pinkalicious was just not having a very good day, until the class came up with a wonderful idea that made everyone’s day.
Alyvia and Eliana loved all the colorful pictures and were excited that the book had stickers and bookmarks and even a Pinkalicious POSTER. The story line kept them entertained and wondering what was going to happen next. The girls would notice how Pinkalicious was feeling by looking at the pictures and had many questions throughout the book. We are looking forward to reading all the Pinkalicious books in the series.
“Pinkalicious and the New Teacher” by Victoria Kann has started my girls on a great series of books for little girls.
