“Rabbit Turds” by Susan Froehlich and Jonathan Rodman is a book full of 73 silly poems illustrated with some funky (good) black and white drawings.  One of my favorite poems was called “Zackie Zeek” and is about a geek who kind of reminds me of my oldest brother.  Some of the poems were about animals and had interesting information like one about Japanese red bugs.  Did you know that Japanese red bug babies eat their mother?  Most of the poems, like “42 Toes” made me giggle. The guy had such a big nose that he couldn’t see his 42 toes.

This collection of poems was written by Jonathan Rodman and his mother.  Some people might be surprised to know that Jonathan Rodman has autism.

I recommend this book to people who giggle easily and like rhyming words.  I think people of all ages would like “Rabbit Turds” by Susan Froehlich and Jonathan Rodman.
