“The Moon Smiles Down” is a delightful book that gives parent and child a gentle way to ease into the night.  Author Tony Waters has written a book that tells of all of the things that the moon sees as it rises high above the world at night.  Children see, right along with the moon, various animals and how each animal behaves at night.  The illustrations are very realistic and warm, adding to the feeling that the child is truly able to see these things along with the moon.  This book is the perfect way to say “good night”.
