“This is a baby Jesus story.  Mary and Joseph look for an inn but none have any room.  One man tells them they can go in his stable though.  They have a donkey with them.  When Joseph takes the blanket off the donkey, there is a cross mark on his back.  The book shows a picture of a real donkey at the end and there is a cross for real.

The book says how tabby cats got ‘M’s’ on their heads.  There is a picture of a real cat at the end and he has an ‘M’ on his head.  That is kind of cool!

I liked this story because it is a little different than some of the other stories about baby Jesus.  ‘A Christmas Legend’ has some of the same things too though.”
