“How the Gods Created the Finger People: A Mayan Fable” is written in both Spanish and in English.  A girl named Luz-Maria tells the story.  She says that she is from Honduras and after dinner her grandmother told them stories outside.  She says her favorite one was “How the Gods Created the Finger People.”  Then it shows that story in the book.

I liked the pictures in the book.  The lady who drew the pictures is Luz-Maria.  My favorite picture is the one with the monkey and the chocolate and the birds and butterflies.  I liked this book because it was different.  I think “How the Gods Created the Finger People: A Mayan Fable” would be a good book for people who can read both English and Spanish.
