Cayden’s comments:

“The Durples look different than the rest of the people at school and their names are Cindyloo, Woodroo, and Mollyboo.  It is the first day of school.  They have a new boy in school and his name is Prince Moonlet Little Feathers.  He is in a wheelchair and it is a magic wheelchair.  This book is about being nice to everybody and not being a bully.  Bullies aren’t nice.  I liked the songs in the book.  Some parts were kind of boring though.”

Parent’s comments:

I liked the message that “The Durples Go to School” sent about accepting others as they are and everybody getting along.  My son had a lot of fun with the songs that were in the book.  They were kind of catchy tunes!   There were some points in the book that my son seemed to lose interest as I was reading to him though.  It just wasn’t a very fast moving book.
