“The Mudhogs” is a great book for boys and girls! The story is about a group of pigs who are friends. They go on a search to find mud when all the mud dries up on the farm. Piggy tried to make rain by doing and Indian rain dance! Piggles found a spell to make rain... but it didn't work! Piglet tried to act out a storm, he even spit on the ground to make a puddle! The pigs discover that sometimes you just have to be patient.

My favorite character’s name is Piglet; he is the smallest and the cutest pig. My favorite picture is of "Fangs" - he is a tick.

This is the second book by Dalton James I have read this year. I think his books are funny and I like his drawings.  I recommend “The Mudhogs” to boys and girls.
