Sputter, Sputter, Sput!
Max: “Car! Vrrooommmm!” Cayden: “Look at him go! That is a very windy road he is driving on!” Max: “Up! Up!” Cayden: “Why did his car stop going? What is wrong with it?” Cayden: “Now he can go again because he filled it back up with gas.” Parent’s comments: “Sputter, Sputter, Sput!” by Babs Bell is a very basic and fun book. Both of my children love cars so when they saw the car on the cover they were already hooked! The illustrations are engaging and helpful in teaching children simple concepts such as up, down and far. Max really enjoyed following the roads and hills with his finger and letting us know what direction the car was going. |
